Bashar AlHadla is a scholar and researcher, working on human rights laws and social justice. He is a human rights educator and advisor. He holds a Master's degree in Law in Human Rights, Union University in Belgrade, a Master's degree in Social Justice Education, OISE, University of Toronto, and a Master's degree in Refugee Law and Protection, University of London. He has published a number of research papers and articles on human rights violations, gender-based violence and domestic violence, as well as refugee rights and protection.
He lectured at different European universities and worked for various international agencies and organizations. He is originally from Iraq, lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
