Bruce Maddy-Weitzman is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Middle Eastern and African History, and Senior Fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, both at Tel Aviv University. His most recent books are Amazigh Politics in the Wake of the Arab Spring (2022), and A Century of Arab Politics (2016).
