Fikra Forum provides a platform for on-the-ground perspectives on understudied or overlooked issues facing the Middle East and North Africa, publishing articles that provide missing context and highlighting new regional developments for Washington policy makers. As such, we seek to cover topics addressing a broad range of political, economic, and social issues facing the region and encourage a range and diversity of opinions. We are particularly interested in articles covering challenges related to governance and the ways in which recent developments in specific localities highlight broader national or regional trends.
