On November 7, David Shedd, deputy director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, addressed a special Policy Forum at The Washington Institute. Part of the Stein Program's ongoing lecture series with senior counterterrorism officials, the event provided an opportunity for policymakers and journalists to interact with an individual who has been instrumental in reshaping America's intelligence apparatus over the past ten years, including direct involvement in changes stemming from the 9/11 Commission Report and the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act.
