President Masoud Barzani to Discuss U.S.-Kurdistan Partnership

WASHINGTON - The Washington Institute for Near East Policy will host a Policy Forum luncheon on Thursday, April 5, with His Excellency Masoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. As the only public event during President Barzani’s trip to Washington, D.C, the forum will provide critical insight into the role of Kurdistan as both a partner and ally to the U.S. in Iraq. The president will also discuss the role of the Kurds in the changing political, security, and economic dynamics in the Middle East as a whole.
Following his remarks, President Barzani will take questions.
