David Cattler was appointed as the National Intelligence Manager for the Near East in July 2015. He oversees and integrates all aspects of the Intelligence Community's collection and analytic efforts against North Africa, the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula, and the Levant. Mr. Cattler has had a wealth of Intelligence Community and policy experience prior to his appointment at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, including experience in the National Security Council, Defense Intelligence Agency, Joint Staff, Navy Staff, Office of Naval Intelligence, and the Navy's surface fleet.
