Col. Haluk Sahar is chief of the strategy and force planning branch at Turkish air force headquarters. In this capacity, he is responsible for force structure, policy planning, and coordination among the various headquarters divisions. He has logged 2,450 flying hours in fighter aircraft, including the command of an F-16 squadron in 2001. Colonel Sahar and his wife have two children.
