Louis Dugit-Gros, a visiting fellow at The Washington Institute from 2021 to 2023, is a French diplomat and member of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères). Dugit-Gros is the third active-duty French diplomat to be a visiting fellow at the Institute. Dugit-Gros served as the press officer for the French embassy in Morocco, and as a political advisor for Libya, and a desk officer for Qatar and Oman at ministry headquarters in Paris. He also worked as a research analyst for the French Ministry of Defense.
Dugit-Gros hold master’s degrees from Sciences Po Lyon, Saint Joseph University of Beirut, and Paris-Dauphine University.
