Nasreddin Ibrahim is the secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (al-Parti), the first Syrian Kurdish political organization, founded in 1957, and he is a leader in the Syrian Democratic Council. Ibrahim also has postgraduate studies in nuclear physics and was a lecturer at the University of Aleppo. He was dismissed from the university for security reasons because of his political activity.
