R. Scott Rogers, a veteran editor with past experience in daily journalism and the legal press, has been a Washington Institute editor since 2006. He got his start at the Institute as a freelance editor, working on event transcripts and the monograph, War on Terror: The Middle East Dimension by Robert Satloff. A native of the Midwest, he was educated at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and has lived in Washington, Chicago, and Amsterdam. He currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin. He was a one-day Jeopardy! champion in 2000.
Automobile Ownership
With his Jeopardy! winnings, Scott bought his first car, a 1991 Mazda Miata, in 2001. He later owned a 2010 Ford Mustang GT in Grabber Blue, and currently drives a brown 2016 Mazda CX-5.
