Salahuddin Hawa, from North Aleppo, Syria, is an anti-Assad activist and anex-director of the Directorate of Education in Aleppo, Syria. He has a degree in English Literature along with a diploma in Pedagogy from Aleppo university and is preparing a dissertation for the Applied Lingustics M.A. program at Al Sham University in North Syria, where he also teaches English to Political Science students. Hawa is a contributor to Fikra Forum.
