Matthew Levitt is a senior fellow and director of The Washington Institute's Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. The former deputy assistant treasury secretary for intelligence and analysis, he is also the author of Negotiating under Fire: Preserving Peace Talks in the Face of Terror Attacks (2008).
Michael Jacobson is a senior fellow in the Institute's Stein Program on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. The former counsel to the 9-11 Commission served as a senior advisor in the Department of the Treasury's Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence
